"Linton Zoological Gardens"Cambridgeshire's Wildlife Breeding CentreLinton Zoo is located between Haverhill and Cambridge (Hadstock Road, Linton, Cambridgeshire, CB21 4NT) the zoo is well known for its conservation work and educational value, while providing an enjoyable family day out. There is a wealth of rare and exotic creatures to see including Tigers, Lions, Lepards, Tapirs, Lemurs, Binturongs, Owls, Parrots, Giant Tortoises, Tarantula Spiders and many other animals and creatures. The zoo is set in 18 acres of beautiful gardens with plenty of picnic areas educational talks and children's play areas, as well as this the zoo also has a coffee shop serving hot and cold food and a gift shop selling various items including photos from around the zoo. "2010 Linton Zoo Photography Days" This year we will be running photography days at Linton Zoo, the days are designed for photographers wanting to learn more about there cameras and how to use them in this type of environment. Please be aware that these days are limited to a maximum 10 places only per day, please book early to avoid disappointment.
